Replacing your deceased animal with another pet is a decision only you can take - sometimes it is just the tonic you need to look forward, but other times you have not grieved properly and the new animal can be resented in some way. It can help to write down your feelings and discuss them with an understanding friend. Pet memorials are also a good way of coping with the death of a pet and lots of people are turning to virtual pet cemeteries as a place to put an everlasting memory and somewhere that can be visited anytime, day or night, from the comfort of their own home. |
